Gina Villafae
Descripción

This project seeks to improve the product import and distribution process by aligning them with the real inventory needs of the company. Our approach is based on the realization of an inventory distribution process map, a root cause analysis of the improvement opportunities and recommendations. Besides, the design of a forecasting tool to assist the decision making on the purchases of imported products. Empresas MELO is a Panamanian company, with more than 60 years in the market, improving their operations and achieving greater efficiency, we expect to generate a positive impact on the national economy.

  • Propose a set of recommendations and KPIs for improving the DCs distribution operations.
Deliverables
  • Forecasting tool for the Purchasing department.
  • A set of recommendations and KPIs to improve product replenishment and distribution.
  • Client and academic presentation.
